Gulf Restoration Network is thrilled to announce that GRN has hired Darden Rice as our new Florida Staff Person! Many of you know Darden from her years of excellent work in Florida doing conservation and political work, and from her extensive and excellent work organizing and leading conservation campaigns to protect our coastlines and ensure a better energy future. Darden has very strong communication and media skills, is an incredible campaign planner, is a very talented advocate and organizer, and has built and grown numerous successful political and conservation coalitions. GRN is thrilled that we have found someone of her experience and expertise to move our Florida program forward.
We bid a very fond adieu to Joe Murphy, who did an excellent job laying the groundwork and building the Florida GRN
program the first three years. We will miss him, and wish him and his wife Becky the very best as they begin a new life as parents to Jared and Emma!
